You can root Hisense devices with a simple app. Hisense leads the TV market in China so it gets plenty of support Though I agree if you buy a TV on black friday you can get a better deal, I'm just giving the great features of this TV with it being android powered, the software will alst a while and you don't need anything outside of it to load things like XBMC.

I have TV model UN60H7150. I have contacted Samsung Support online with my issue, and per their suggestion done a factory reset of my TV and a reset of the smart hub. Neither of those things have fixed the problem.Basically, Hulu Plus shuts itself down on my TV at the beginning of an episode. It will work 1 out of every 5 or 7 tries and actually play an episode. Most of the time it just closes and I have to open the smart hub and open Hulu again. Hulu works fine on my Roku and on my playstation, but it is incredibly annoying having to use one of those systems when I bought the smart tv for the smart capability. Netflix works fine.

Amazon works fine. It is only Hulu.Any advice?

The TV is only 3 weeks old and it is the second one we got after we had to return our initial purchase due to Hulu freezing and getting colored fuzzy lines across the screen.Best Buy Geek Squad is stumped. Do I return the TV and get a Sharp? My TV is doing this also.

How can i add hulu to my hisense smart tv

I have to unplug the tv and then it seems to work for a couple hours of watching (either same day or over multiple days) and it starts to do this again where it just shuts off. From my research this has been going on for 3+ years. I had a Panasonic before this Samsung (it was stolen) that never had an issue with Hulu, so it isn't just the Hulu App.With cable/satellite becoming less popular I would hope this would become a priority for Samsung to make it get fixed. I know I won't be purchasing Samsungs for replacements for other tvs in the house as they are needed, seriously annoying. I'm not sure if this post will fully answer the questions and issues posted on this topic.

Does Hisense Tv Have Hulu

Hopefully it will shed some light on an issue that may not be immediately obvious to others with this problem.I use a Samsung TV to access Hulu. It's a newer 4K model. Prior to that I used another Samsung 'smart' TV which had a Hulu client built in.After getting connected to Hulu I began to have problems not the least of which was my TV was not recognized by Hulu. This was resolved with a software update.

Next, my viewing would go 'dark' for no apparent reason and I spent weeks being told the cause was my 'slow' network connection. But thanks to Samsung, the real reason emerged.Hulu ad serving platform uses code to 'target' ads based upon several pieces of information they try to obtain from the software client. In particular, Hulu tries to access the IP/Geolocation of the device connected to the service. The reason they do this is for ad serving.Hulu's ad serving software hijacks the viewing stream and the ad insert interrupts playback. Fortunately, Samsung software detects this highjacking and refuses to display the content. This caused the Hulu ad server to stop sending the program. I have the same problem or at least I think its the same - at the very least similar. Hulu opens ok, everything seems fine then I pick an episode and start it - then 'Loading' forever.

At first it only seemed to be programs from certain networks (NBC was the most common offender) - then it seemed like i had to clear out the queue, sometimes I'd have to remove it then reinstall it (which I've forgotten how to do) and eventually whatever fix I happened to find would work. Web works fine, smartphone fine - TV - well lets just say I tried to start Heroes Reborn before I started this reply and its still 'Loading'. Whatever the problem is - its annoying. Why am I paying for this to have it not work? And even more hilarious they want me to kick in another $3 for commercial free - commercial free what?

I'm already commercial free - I can honestly say its been 'Loading' for 20 minutes and not one commercial. Although I'm not sure that qualifies as a silver lining.
