Nawazuddin Siddiqui is an Indian film actor who works in Hindi cinema. After a period of unnoticed performances in his early career, he received the Special Jury Award at the 2012 National Film Awards.Siddiqui was born on 19 May 1974 in Budhana, a village in Muzaffarnagar district of the Uttar Pradesh State of India, into a zamindari Muslim family of Numberdars. Earlier, the makers had roped in Mouni Roy to play the female lead opposite Nawazuddin, but the actress walked out of the film as she felt that there were several discrepancies in the contract. However, the producer Rajesh Bhatia had to say otherwise and even called her unprofessional. Now that a new actress has been signed for the film, the shooting of the film will kick-start as planned.Touted to be a romantic, quirky comedy, Bole Chudiyan is being bankrolled producer Rajesh Bhatia and Kiran Bhatia of Woodpecker Movies, who are also producing Nawazuddin’s upcoming release, Motichoor Chaknachoor. Nawazuddin will be playing the lead role of a ‘passionate lover’ in brother Shamas Nawab Siddiqui’s debut film. Meanwhile, talking about Mouni, producer Bhatia had told the tabloid, 'We deny anyone has been rude to Mouni.
