I'm running a dedicated server for me and my friends and we tried different kinds of gamemodes but prop hunt never worksthe only time it works is when I use the files downloaded herehowever there are problems with the camera for props and you cant turn into props except props like barrels and small stuff like noodle boxes and bottlesany help?EDIT: I forgot to mention the gamemode is always Sandbox unless I'm using the files from the link aboveEDIT I've fixed the sandbox problem but I still cant fix the props being part of the map and cant turn into them. Gmod Server Download
Double Click the SteamCMD.exe program that you unzipped into the new folder. It should start to update. New files will appear in your folder so don't freak out if that happens. Step 2: Login to SteamCMD and Download Gmod Server Files. Launch SteamCMD and enter the following codes. Login anonymous. Forceinstalldir c: gmodserver appupdate 4020 validate. This can take some time to completely download the need files. After install browse to the server directory and edit the server.cfg file.

As long as it's installed to the server (and your friends have it) you should be fine.typing 'gamemode prophunters' says gamemode not found.You might have forgotten to install the gamemode to your servers gamemodes directory, if you're certain you installed it make sure you installed it to the garrysmod/gamemodes folder.I opened the ports and they still cant join.Go to your servers garrysmod/cfg folder.
In there we'll want to edit the server.cfg file, within that you'll want to type svlan 0 and that should work. Ill be honest, I've never set up a private server just for myself and friends so I'm not sure what else to trouble shoot for it).
