ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated or any other type of archive invalidation that you fancy, this one just strikes me as the best. Ignore this if you use Wrye Bash, it does that by itself.

This could be 100 different things but I will give it a shot. I have uninstalled and installed realvision enb and all the mods several times but I have never had it crash when I tried to load something usually it crashes in game or on startup so im not too sure what would cause this but I can make a few guesses.1) Did you have the correct skyrim.ini and skyrimperfs.ini settings?2) Are you using the SKSE launcher? Do not use the normal skyrim launcher.3) Do you see the enb series watermark in the corner of your screen when you launch skyrim?4) have you tried creating a merged patch?5) Did you reset archive invalidation in nexus mod manager? I don't know if there was correct settings for those two files, I didn't find any requirements on those.2. Yes, Top left.4. Not sure what that is.5. No.Maybe I messed up by overwriting some files?

'And let always overwrite if NMM asks! (say NO to update and YES to install normally)'These directions are not really clear to me.I just know for SIMM I DON'T overwrite but over everything else I did.Is it possible to just download a version of skyrim with all this pre-installed?Am I missing out on anything If I just skip the optionals? Here are the ini files, replace the ones in C:Usersyour user nameDocumentsMy Gamesskyrim with these:To reset archive invalidation just open nexus mod manager and click on the wrench icon on the top and choose rest archive invalidation you should do this everytime you install a new mod and are abt to launch skyrim. You could have but I doubt it would cause a crash usually that would just cause a mod to not work or not work properly. Yes always say no when it asks to update and most of the time you will say yes to overwrite unless instructed not to by the mod author. It will be soon nexus mod manager is adding a feature that allows the installation of pre construed load orders so basically you will be able to download realvision and all the mods they reccomend with a click of a button but that feature is not here yet. Okay, I must have had installed the mods INCORRECTLY.

When NMM asked to overwrite I just clicked 'Yes for all' Because I assumed, 'And let always overwrite if NMM asks! (say NO to update and YES to install normally)' Meant to say yes for all.

But I now know better, I'll read every description for every mod on the right of NMM. The only mod I saw that required overwriting was SIMM.Just to confirm! I shall delete ALL my mods. Uninstall skyrim. Un subscribe to all mods via steam.Start over, and when I go down this list in ENB for the optional's I shall do what?Say 'No to mod'? Or 'No to all' (Unless specified by author).I'll have to find what exactly the 6 options are when NMM asks to overwrite. Because the above directions for the ENB is very un-clear.

Archive Invalidation Fallout 3

I shall delete ALL my mods. Uninstall skyrim. Un subscribe to all mods via steam.Start over, and when I go down this list in ENB for the optional's I shall do what?Say 'No to mod'? Or 'No to all' (Unless specified by author).I'll have to find what exactly the 6 options are when NMM asks to overwrite. Because the above directions for the ENB is very un-clear.Say yes to overwrite on everything. Except for the ENB patches which are 'skyrimParticlePatchforENB-All-In-One' and 'SkyrimSubsurfaceScatteringPatchforENB' these will ask to overwrite SMIM say NO.And always say no if it asks to update anything. What mods are you getting on steam workshop?

How To Use Archive Invalidation

I just use nexusmods.com and download everything to nexus mod manager to keep everything as simple as possible and in one place. I have quite a few mods from the workshop. But I'am going to take note of them all and un-subscribe from them. It won't matter then what mods I had.I'am just going to uninstall and delete everything and install skyrim. Starting from scratch should work.So 'Overwrite' and 'Update' are two different things. Say No for update. And I'll say just 'Yes' for everything else except the two patches.I think I pretty much got it.Exactly, make sure you say no to the update that is most important, the update function doesn't work properly and it can screw up the mod.

So from reading the mod author's last notes, it seems that Fallout New Vegas Archive Invalidation Invalidated a) is no longer supported by the creator and no longer works with the latest official patch.comments in the forum at the nexus site seem to indicate that the built-in invalidation feature in Nexus Mod Manager also doesn't work.Step 3 in NMC's texture pack states that this step is required:' 3) IMPORTANT: Activate 'archive invalidation invalidated' so the new files show up in game. (Also, if you are overwriting a previously installed, different sized pack, THEN TOGGLE ARCHIVE INVALIDATION INVALIDATED OFF, THEN BACK ON AGAIN or the new textures may not show up)You can activate this in the Fallout Mod Manager Mod (FOMM)or by using the Archive Invalidation Invalidated mod:'I am unable to get FOMM to run at all (crashes immediately upon startup), so it looks like I need the Archive Invalidation Invalidated mod.Can someone explain how to accomplish this step? Thanks.I have the latest version of Nexus Mod Manager (.15.8) installed.Posts: 3420 Joined: Fri Jun 23, 2006 4:25 am. I use the FO3 version, but someone did one for New Vegas later on.

I don't know if it works the same as I haven't used it. But, just download the file and follow his instructions on the page - time you add a new texture to the game you don't need to 'toggle' anything.

It does it automatically. Somehow I also don't use FOMM's archive invalidation and don't need to because of this way.Posts: 3392 Joined: Mon Oct 29, 2007 1:57 amDisplay posts from previous: Sort.
